MOHAN SINGH PHAGURA was born in a village called Ramgarh in Punjab, India on the 9th February 1952.
At the tender age of 14 he and his younger brother Harjinder travelled with their father Chain Singh to the UK for a better life and future for them and their siblings.
Having no choice but to work they commenced their working life in England and worked as labourers or any job they could find in order to call their brothers, sister and their mother over to join them. After a few years of hardship and sacrificing meal times, the fruits of their labour paid off and the family were reunited.
MSP (Our King) had a love of vehicles of all kinds, which helped as in his early years he drove buses, HGV/lorries and then taxis to support his brothers to help set up businesses along with his parents. This also allowed him to put food on the table for his family.
He realised early on his adult years he would very much like to work for himself and started investing in businesses such as shops, post offices and fish and chip shops ā deep down he always knew he was his own boss. The entrepreneur was definitely within him from a young age!
In 2005 MSP moved to Suffolk with his wife and lived with his sons. He was living his best life travelling with and sometimes, without his wife between the UK and India. He built his dream mansion in India on his plot of land, which he had saved up for and also encouraged his sons to invest in. In his latter years, this proved to be his go-to, his second home, his happy place, his haven and most recently where he took his final breath and left the physical world peacefully leaving behind his loving, caring wife š¢and family in shock in his sudden death.
So our Mission will be to continue the good deedsā¦.No one is bigger or better we are all Godās children, we came with nothing we will go with nothingā¦.

Our Projects
Ramgarh Crematorium
One of our first projects is a crematorium in Ramgarh, Punjab, which we at the foundation were unfortunate enough to experience ourselves as being in desperate need of renovation.
We will be investing funds into making the facilities fit for purpose, modernising equipment and providing training where needed to make it state-of-the-art and what the people of the area deserve to say goodbye to their loved ones.
A local school in Ramgarh which was in desperate need of a new water filtration system. After visiting we arranged for all the children to be supplied with a uniform and a decent pair of shoes, along with all stationery required and school bags. School uniform plays a key role in promoting pride, self-confidence, and a feeling of belonging within the student body. These factors contribute to studentsā wellbeing, removing the additional pressures of deciding what to wear and added stress of meeting the expectations of their peers.
